5. Website Availability

Quartier Villeray strives to keep the website accessible to users 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, Quartier Villeray cannot guarantee the permanent availability and accessibility of the website.

As such, Quartier Villeray reserves the right to terminate, restrict, suspend, or temporarily interrupt, partially or completely, access to the website, its features, or all or part of the services offered on the website, at any time, without notice or compensation, for any reason whatsoever, including for technical maintenance, in the event of a force majeure event or unforeseen accident, IT problems, difficulties related to the structure of communication networks, or any other technical difficulty.

6. Liability of Quartier Villeray

Except for damages resulting from gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence on our part, Quartier Villeray cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, such as, but not limited to, any loss or alteration of data, loss of programs, loss of profits, or operating losses, suffered by a User or a third party, resulting from access to the site, browsing on the site, the content of the site, use of the site and sites linked to it, or the inability of Users to use the content, information, and services offered via the site.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada, without reference to principles of conflict of laws. You agree to be bound by these laws and to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec with respect to the interpretation or application of these Terms of Use.

Any application of conflict of laws rules that would limit the full application of Canadian law is therefore excluded from these Terms of Use. Consequently, Canadian law applies to all Users who browse the Site and use all or part of its features. In the event of a discrepancy between the information presented in the French version of the Site and that presented in the English version of the Site, the information presented in the French version shall govern.
